This man will always be remembered for the now infamous OJ Simpson trial.

Although the OJ case was very debatable, his other cases were very justified.

He will always be the man, to me.

I prefer Robert Shapiro's quote after the O.J. Simpson case.  He was asked if the thought Cochran had played the race card.  Shapiro's response....

"Not only did we play the race card, we dealt it from the bottom of the deck."

Ditto...Since his illness was kept from the public I was wondering just last week why he wasn't at Michael Jackson's defense.  Now we know.

Cochran was a friend to WVA. He came into WVA, approx. 2002 Hinton, WVA, and pleaded as Tri-counsel for a person that had been beaten to near death. He won the case, but unfortunately the person involved died last year. However, he was an advocate for the underdog. He died of an inoperable brain tumor.
