Hate? Hate is a strong word and certainly not close to true. No one hated Doc, no one hates DD. I am sure both are good guys. We can like them but we can also be critical of their coaching. It happens. I don't know of any coach in the history of sports that has been immune to some criticism on occasion. In this case, the criticism is warranted, sadly. This team is lost and losing ground each game. Time for a fresh start all the way around. DD has been great for Marshall on many fronts and he is to be thanked and appreciated. But it's just time to go in another direction.
Interesting take that I have mixed feelings about. True, hate is a strong word and arguably overstates my opinion towards Doc. I really didn?t like him though, from the start. By the time he was thrown out I was convinced he was a true blue & piss yellow pouty through and through. He didn?t care for Marshall all that much, but loved the money and the dream he would make it to the Hole even though there was no chance they would bite.
Danny on the other hand I?ve been a long-time fan of. However, I see the need for him to step away from the situation. I hope he will see this towards the end of the season and will step away as he said he would at his introduction. My fear is that he will be a D?Antoni. I was at Marshall wen Mike was there and Mike never gave up in a game. I suspect Dan was the same. I fear the never say die attitude will convince him ?just one more year and I can get this.?
Hate to say it, but if things don?t change and he won?t leave at the end of the season, then he needs to be shown the door. I loved showing Doc the door, I won?t with Dan.
