I think Goran is essentially getting the minutes that Touissant was getting a week ago.  Based on how the two of them have looked while on the floor that seems reasonable.  Note - Goran caught a lob pass and dunked it against Toledo, that is significant progress.

He has improved some but he still has bad hands. As soon as he came in the game they threw it down to him and it went threw his hands out of bounds. He makes some good plays but it worries me every time it's thrown his way. But I will take him over Toussaint for sure as a back up.

it's a tough world out there for bigs in the paint.  but i think we can all agree that we'd like to see them all focus better/improve on
using their feet more and timing rather than relying on their hands/sometimes lower body on D.  and yes, finishing at the rim better and with authority whenever possible.  credit to Micah though for being only a true freshman.  i consider the other FR, Connor and Fricks, to be in a larger group, more players to compete against for playing time- so it's maybe a bit harder on them to fit in but i think they'll come along

It wasn't perfect but it hit him in both hands. And that has been his problem for 3 years. I always said if he had good hands he would be a pretty good player. That is Micah's strength. He has tremendous hands for a 7'1" guy.

Toledo beat Vermont (6-8) on the road today 84-72. Ohio U lost to Florida last week 82-48  :o and beat Stetson at home Saturday 85-66.

Returning to the OP, we know the Herd would maybe/probably be a Top 25 team with JT Shumate taking Conner and Fricks minutes. But we would be nowhere next season if that were the case.

Taylor needs to stop committing stupid reach-in fouls with minimal chance of poking the ball loose. He does this every game and I'm afraid he will be on the bench when we need him the most at some point.
