Well played basketball game! I am proud of them and their efforts. Just like Coach P entering the MAC and bringing speed, so did Dantoni. This is what we are going to b about SBC, if the offensive onslaught doesnt get you, we are gonna turn up the defense till you cant breathe. Wore out Appy both physically and the defense wore them mentally. Couldnt have asked for a better start IMO. Are their things to work on, heck yeah but if you bring that kinda effort each and every nite, my experience says a whole lot more wins than losses. Well done players and staff!

I thought we played outstanding defense last night. Constant pressure from all over the floor. We hurried them up and totally took them out of their normal offense

We played well, but we are going to run into teams eventually that can make the wide open 3 ball.  Protect the perimeter.  Nice win.  Go Herd.

If we manage to handle JMU by more than 10pts, I'll be very hyped on our chance to win the conference. Right now I'm still cautiously optimistic.

I think JMU is in for a big surprise. They like to run and get up and down the court. Problem is that is when we play our best. I look for another blow out win unless they shoot about 70% from 3.

bonus to be at home during/between the holidays and to start SBC play.  not always, of course, but away games during this time can play a huge part in underperforming and also home teams performing well. 

never thought i'd say it, but i think the tarps helped create a bit of atmosphere. i'm looking forward to the crowd getting really loud!
