"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • I drove by it last week. Was going to run in and take pics, but they have the whole job site fenced off.

  •  I assume they'll bring the overheard canopy all the way around the first base side as well?

  • Does MU have one or more of those web cams set up around the stadium site allowing access/viewing 24/7?  If not, why not?  Obviously would create a LOT of interest IMO from MU fans, the general public, perhaps future student athletes, etc.  Marshall had those along nearby 3rd Avenue sites when the Byrd Buidling and the Weisburg Engineering Bldg. were being built, IIRC.  With time lapse photography, it is pretty interesting watching the progress of such a formidable facility being built.  Use to follow a similar set up when JMU built their new Basketball Arena a few years back.  Believe MU is missing an opportunity to build interest in the Baseball Facility, and the Baseball program overall, by not making an opportunity for public viewing of the construction available, if that indeed the case.

They have it on top of baseball page on Herdzone. Unfortunately, at this point, the angle of the camera doesn't show anything but construction equipment. None of what's seen in the photo above is visable on the webcam.

Ummm, chris88, sounds like someone in the AD needs to take a cue from "The Tan Man", and "get that fixed"!!
