The 2023 college football season is upon us, and as such, it?s that time of year when programs lean into the hype and excitement by unveiling new uniforms to be worn during the upcoming campaign.

Whether teams are revealing new home and away kits or an alternate uniform for a special game, fans wait with bated breath to see what fits their favorite teams will sport this fall.

Schools across the country have been releasing new uniforms almost daily of late, and so it?s only right that Sports Illustrated compiles a list of the top 10 new college football uniforms for 2023.

My rating 1 to 10
I have no idea how UAB made the top 10. Puke; rating 2
FIU - since I am still a Miami Vice fan and a fan of everything Miami, pretty cool launch video; Rating 8.5
Notre Dame- still seeing green. Nice take on a classic sports flick. Rating 7
Cincinnati- is it me or hasn't their base uniform always been black? Rating ITS THE SAME DANG THING!! 1
UT and the alternate black- not a bad look with the orange' Rating 9
OSU and the alternate grey- much better than the black' Rating 6.

Really like Maryland's retro helmets. Never liked the state flag stuff on their uniforms.

The FIU Miami Vice uniform is sweeeeeet, but won't be complete until MacIntyre wears a pastel t-shirt under a white jacket pushed up to his elbows. 

The rest of that list are just meh.

Still think our green jerseys and white pants are one of the sweetest looks in college football. Our helmet is one of the best as well. The all whites are nice looking as well.

No effort went into these rankings.  More than half look the same including our alternative black uniforms if they would have included those.  FIU was a pretty cool idea and video as was Notre Dame.
