I'm confused. It seems there is a near universal outcry that college football needs serious reform, with regard to the ridiculous coast-to-coast conference alignments, NIL, length of TV timeouts, etc. etc.
And yet, despite this seemingly universal outcry, it seems that the schools are doing a hard double down on all these things. It's as bad as it's ever been. The same people who identify the problems seem to be the same ones leading college football headlong into its demise.
