  • Going to App St and just went to buy tickets and they range from $150 to $250...that is amazing for a team that is average this year.  They are also averaging about 35000 a game.

  • The last time I saw the HERD play in Boone the Stadium held no where near 35,000.  Not saying the attendance figure cited is incorrect.  However, maybe the ASU folks are including all those people who are up on the rather large mountain which is beyond one endzone.  Those people along with a very LARGE HERD of Billy Goats!!!!

  • Their fans go to the games. Smallest crowd this year is 32,000 against USM who was 1-6 while App was 3-4. They go to the games to support their team no matter what. Imagine that.

  • The only tickets available from App are $250 and I think it is to sit on the grass hill.

i'm afraid free goat BBQ would not be enough to build a fanbase, however mouthwatering.  but, having a fairly consistent program playing at a high level several times over many years will cure the stomach growls.  our program, not so much and now we find ourselves nearing a crossroads once again- how will the crossing turn out?

  • Nothing else to do in Boone. Plus they pull from Charlotte, Asheville, Hendersonville and Hickory areas. Good for them.

I was going to say they have less going on there than even Huntington.  Students secluded on a mountain top are gonna go to games.  Probably 1/3 of their attendance.
