  • I flipped over and watched some of the UCF - JMU game throughout the evening.  I think JMU was dominant most of the contest.  UCF scored early then took the night off.

The thing I like about the tourney is that the two hottest teams in the conference have to play in the first round, so we don't need to go through both JMU (4 wins in a row) and UK (3 wins in a row).  That represents the sum total of each of those teams conference wins this year.  Neither team had a conference win 2 weeks ago.

  • I've watched both JMU and UK 2x this year and although I think MU is better than either of them, they both have skills and talent enough to knock off the Herd.  Hopefully, we win Sunday easily without yellow card or injury issues, and whomever wins the late game gets tired of eating Fat Patty's all week and just phones it in for the semis.

  • This team is awesome!  MU should host a few tournament games.

UK beat us here at the Vet last week, applying pressure high. Their #7, a striker, is a real problem...he's really fast and skilled.
JMU was overmatched by the Herd...but they are chippy and at the edge of being a dirty team.
