Louisiana Cajuns Softball Team just lost their coach to the Big 12 and 4 of their players have entered the Transfer Portal.  One is a pitcher.  Could possibly be an interest for the Herd.  Possibility the players may be following the coach to the Big 12 but they need to be checked out.

well, that's one approach.  maybe you are realistically correct, but wouldn't you rather see the Herd beat any peer institution at their best?  or, see Beals step it up or see a new coach who can recruit as well as any of our "equals"?

They signed two highly touted pitchers. They also have the Penn St transfer.  In house they have Feringa back, the now SO Washington, and the now SO from KY who had a great HS career but struggled as a FR last year, Cole??? Time will tell but agree that pitching in softball and baseball is the most important thing.

Thanks for the info. Other than golf, for obvious reasons, I think softball is the only sport where one individual can make such a huge impact. A very good softball pitcher is the golden ticket. If you don't have them, you won't go far - for the most part.

The thing that is sort of confusing is that the head coach and at least one other coach are playing professional softball during the summer. 

So I don?t know how she has time to recruit this incident.  I?m sure playing softball is Morgan?s life passion but I don?t know she can recruit and close deals to sign players, while playing pro ball.
