I've watched the play several times and never saw  flag thrown.   Did anyone see the flag thrown at the time of the snap.  Maybe those at the game saw it thrown.

In either case does a media member have the balls to ask Huff about the play and if indeed it was a penalty.  Would love to know what the penalty was for and if Huff thought it was a BS call.  Sure looked to me like the linemen were within a yard of the center.

I was there and did not see the flag thrown. That doesn't mean they didn't throw it, but nobody around me saw it.
The call was for not enough people on the line of scrimmage. 
I thought it was a BS call and certainly had a big impact on the game.  It probably would not have changed the outcome, but it certainly changed the flow of the game.

I was there and did not see the flag.  Another momentum stopper was the flag thrown for holding when we made a first down to move out past our own 30.  I looked at the replay and I did not see a hold.

I backed up the broadcast and paused the game when they showed the line of scrimmage and the two players on the right side of the center were clearly 2 yards off the line of scrimmage.  They were noticeably back from the players on the left side of the center.

You could see the flag being thrown for the camera angle behind the returner. It wasn't thrown until about the time the punt was dropped.

On the same play our lineman had his helmet ripped off by a hands to the face that was ignored. At worst offsetting penalties but the hold was very weak.

Yeah but the two guys further outside were on the LOS. It doesn?t matter where they line up as long as you have 7 people on the LOS.

If you look at the picture there are nine Herd players pictured, one who is not pictured is the punter, so that leaves only one wide lineman.  So, if two lineman were not on the line, and it looks like two not one, then there be only six on the line.

Interesting wording. Maybe a bit like the Cincy ball carrier at the Joan when they already had around 50. Or the Memphis future NFL RB and they ran out the clock on us inside the 10. We get lucky sometimes I notice when we aren't very good.

Regarding the OP, Redsfan posted on the Nation that the flag was in the air when the ball was. I don't know, I wasn't there, but I'll take people's word for it.
