  • that Huff turned down two offers to extend his contract? It gets thrown around a lot on here but I've never seen a statement or some other documentation of that.

Maybe there wouldn't be and that's the nature of these negotiations, but so far nothing on this board reads like actual intel--it's all conjecture and speculation about Coach Huff, his wife, their feelings on Huntington, etc. But nothing that's "real."

He turned down an extension last year, and my source is a good one for that info

Nothing I've seen so far leads me to believe anyone knows anything about the Huffs' reality.  I've offered dozens of alternate takes on things said and interpretations of actions but people are just going to believe what they want to believe.  There's a deep-rooted hatred of that guy by quite a few fans that didn't want Doc fired or just never believed in him.  Beyond just being upset over certain games or coaching mistakes.

The same could be said for you choosing not to believe that he turned down extensions.

Maybe the terms weren't there at the time or maybe Huff was just betting on getting a call from a P4.  Either way after the 2023 season finishing under. 500 it was championship or bust.

Huff is also the one to agree to terms with Southern Miss right before the JMU game.  Had he lost that game he would have been announced as their HC this past Sunday.

So, you've said.  Again, no evidence.  As for the extensions, I haven't said he didn't turn them down.  I have said they probably weren't worth the paper they were written on given our history.  But you still have shown a lick of proof any more than anyone else has.
