  • If that was the case why not wait till next Mon or Tues to vote on the contract? You are only letting the Players have false hope by drafting the contract early.

Hopefully they are being proactive (which would be rare for Marshall). I don't really think it matters how the players feel. Coaches are doing what's best for them. Players do what's best for them (they are moving around like crazy transferring). And the School (Marshall) needs to do what's best for it. Everyone should be looking out for their own best interests.

Getting everything ready for the new coach to hit the ground running when the portal officially opens on Monday.

All while upsetting the current players right before the CCG. Would make no sense. Unless the current players already knew.
If they did it would be all over social media by now, so I don't think that is the case.

I?d think today?s players wouldn?t care even if been told bc they create value for themselves by playing week.  Get paid now and not have to hide it.  They will go all out regardless if know or not.  I don?t think they care unless they are desperate.

  • My point being that the Huff era was done and has been since last year.

They should have fired him after the App State loss last year (0-5 streak). At least they got some work out of him this year. He proved he could win some big games. But can he win the championship?
