It's been over 30 years since we've hired a guy with head coaching experience.  It's mostly worked out for us.  Maybe not as much hardware as we'd like but successful program by any realistic standard.

Nick Saban has no connection to WVU unless you count driving past them on his way to the airport to get on a plane out of WV.

I actually like the fact that the minute Huff steps down a new coach steps up.  In this new portal era this is the best possible way to handle a coaching change.

The portal is non stop.  There is not a rush.  Good guys know if staying or leaving anyways whether it?s Huffs here.  Players are now playing to create value for themselves. I get the uncertainty.  Live it.  But it?s non stop.  Patience and understanding of your needs and wants to enhance your holes is the key to the portal. Let the holes be so.  Need a magician to fill them.  That?s Huff.
