  • Case announced he has withdrawn from the portal and will stay at Marshall.  Hope he does well in the next few years.
I don't like to lose, and that isn't so much because it is just a football game, but because defeat means the failure to reach your objective. I don't want a football player who doesn't take defeat to heart, who laughs it off with the thought, 'Oh, well, there's another Saturday.' The trouble in American life today, in business as well as in sports, is that too many people are afraid of competition. The result is that in some circles people have come to sneer at success if it costs hard work and training and sacrifice.- Knute Rockne

  • He is a Freshman and I not sure if he is on scholarship? He has no stats on Herdzone and maybe he is a walk-on?

  • I suspect he redshirted.  Similar receiver to Metcalf / Montgomery.

  • Thomas mccoy was the one liked to have kept.  Fastest Wr in Va coming out of Hs last year.  Mu was stockpiling talent.

  • FYI: He is not listed on the signees from the February list of new freshmen and portal transfers. Could be a late signee or a walk-on?

  • What I think mattesr not, but I would not let ONE kid return who entered the portal; contributing to the loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars to the univeristy, an unadmirable press coverage of the events, and helping steal the bowl experience from those who didn't commit to leaving.  This is ludicrous IMHO. Chicken, welcome to running the hen house.

  • Though you can never trust high school 40 times, his was listed as 4.49. He came in very small at 5?9?, 140, so hopefully he was putting on weight.
