    While certainly not his fault, it would have been easier to savor the soccer wins without all of the football drama and distraction.  They deserved to have 100% of our attention on them, collectively and I'm sure most people tried, but football kept popping to the forefront during the whole process.  In a normal year, we'd have focused on soccer until decided and then turned our attention to the bowl game.  But whatever.  Wouldn't have changed the outcome, anyway.
