  • BRADSHAW! WOW! Close to 250 yards and 2 TDs! He's the best!!

Morris overall did well, Skinner also did well replacing him!

Chubb had a good game also, real nice TD run.

What about those catches by Spann? WOW! Why is he not thrown to more often?

Nice pressure by the defense tonight, got good pressure on the QB! The D line did realy well tonight, not great but much improved! Big play there at the end, and the INT by #8 was real nice also

What the hell was that penalty called on Marshall when UAB lined up for a punt? Hell the ball wasn't even snapped and I never heard what the penalty was either.

Overall much improved, but I am secretly hoping that Snyder doesn't  let up on them this week!

  • The penalty I have no clue, someone said on a post it was some kind of unnatural movement?  Never heard of it,  But I agree Snyder needs to stay on their backs and not let up on them.

  • Huff, reality is the game could have been a repeat of the previous two weeks, giving it away in the last quarter of the game, except that the D stiffened on the final UAB possession. Skinner would have again been a goat. Notice how we say he had a nice game... his first 4 completions, though, would have been all but forgotten if not for the D that got it together and got-er-done.

If the D can just play a notch better, the offense--for all of the butching and moaning that side of the ball takes from some of us--is capable of putting enough on the board to win.

  • Those 2 Spann catches looked like the E. Spann before the ACL injury. Just going for the ball and not worring. Before that I think he was a lil tentative on his route or jumps. Maybe those 2 catches gets him going to where we can just throw the ball up to him and he comes down with it. Something he was billed as a WR to do.

I have heard people say that after a knee injury, even after healing completely physically that it still takes some time to get 100%. I don't know if it is fine tuning the physical or the brain getting to where it doesn't try to  compensate for where the injury used to be.

  • Swagger. Heart. Intensity....all the good stuff.

I was also delighted to watch Josh Johnson play defense like somebody just insulted his momma.

  • Things are great after a win.

What can I say? The Herd came out with an attitude and more focus than they have in two seasons.

I think Snyder got their attention and boy did they respond.

Don't slip up Herd. Keep the focus on the next game.
