Looks like this team is starting to gel as a team and getting that killer insinct. I noticed on TV that Ahmad was very vocal in the huddle and Morris was so pissed when he got hurt.
The J.J had a lot of emotions when we made that pick and Josh Johnson was very vocal as well out there. All these guys and more where playing with that confidence you need to win.
Love to see this week of practice. I can only hope we take this win and emotion of the win and take it into the Memphis game.

Snyder followed up on his passionate talk at SMU, switching up routines throughout the week. In lieu of a light walkthrough on Friday, the norm under Snyder, the team donned helmets and ran drills.

Players got the point and responded accordingly.

"Coach Snyder took away some of the privileges this week," Spillman said. "Everybody knows how good it is to have something when all of sudden you don't have it."

I hope Snyder continues the rest of the season with the "tough coaching love".

It seemed like Josh Johnson's name was being called on the radio almost every play. How many tackles did he have ?
