  • I woke up this morning with a good feeling about MU's chances against UAB.

Marshal wins this week!  Mark it down.

Go, MU!  Go Tulsa!  Go, C-USA!!

  • Thank you Catbird.  We can use all the help we can get at this point.

BTW have you ever been to Bristow, Oklahoma?  In 1962 my family and I were going out west when the travel trailer we were towing broke down.  We had to spend a few days there at a plant where they made the Scotty travel trailers.  It was just off Route 66.

I hooked the biggest large mouth bass that I have ever hooked in a lake that was in Bristow.  I will never forget that moment.  The look on my dad's face was worth a million dollars.  As all fish stories go ole Lunker got off to swim another day.  For a brief moment in time Bristow, Oklahoma has forever been etched in my mind as one of my fondest memories of family and youthful bliss.

  • Thanks man. I hope you're right.
I also have some great memories of OK. I was stationed in Altus for just over 2 yrs. I met my girl there and we've been together for 11 yrs.

  • I've spent a little time in Bristow when I was trying to lease some property on which to place a cellular tower a couple decades ago.  Oklahoma is right in the thick of things when it comes to bass ... I think we have more pro bass fishermen than anyone else ... and several tournaments.

I don't think I've been to Altus, but I went to a rattlesnake hunt near there about a year or so ago.  There's an itty-bitty USAF base down there.  LOL

You watch this week, and see if Watson Brown doesn't have that "deer in the headlights" look to him while losing to MU.  I think he'll wear it a lot!

Hey ... maybe you guys should consider playing some better OOC competition next year.  Playing all those patsies isn't really good for you.     (At least until you get back on your feet.)
