  • I read where Chuck Landon asked about? What happened to M. Fitzgerald? My question is what could possibly be bad if we called at least one play with Albin carrying the ball. Two years ago Coach S said he would be our goto guy; yet he still does not have one single carry. I don't get this.

Also just reading the posts; I see where we are saying we don't have the horses yet; Snyder needs more time. I disagree. We have a great team. We lack at a couple of key positions, but Coach S said at the first Q/back meeting in Huntington, when asked how do you compare the MU talent level with what you have been used to? He replied, with Purdue. That should have been good enough to win more than 4 games last year, and good enough to defeat K/State, SMU, and CFU. Sorry, but this was his appraisal, not mine.

p.s. M. Morris attitude and plahy made a big difference Saturday. Same with Underwood, Lergursky, Bradshaw, and several others. I should not have mentioned anyone, but several players played on a college level Saturday, and it has been several years since we Herd fans have seen this.

pps. When one of the best players in WV leaves your team, and the team plays its best ball of the year it just points out how much of a team game football is.
