Snyder wants players to walk to stadium, allowing fans to interact

    By Doug Smock
    Staff writer

TEAYS — Mark Snyder, looking for every homefield edge possible, wants to toss a new wrinkle into the football game-day experience.

Speaking Thursday before a packed room at Sleepy Hollow Country Club, Snyder told Putnam County Big Green members of his idea. He wants to take the team to the Embassy Suites in Charleston on Friday, quarantine them overnight, then bus back to Huntington.

Instead of busing to the stadium, the players would be dropped off at Cam Henderson Center. Then they would walk the two blocks to the stadium, interacting with fans along the way.

  • It is good they chose to write a MU article. It is selective, biased reporting, when they choose not to report the success of the Berry Hills event. It is selective biased reporting, when they choose not to report the success of the Teays Valley meeting last evening. No press=no image. If this was a WVU event "slick" Shingle himself, would still be in the shower trying to wash off the %^&* from having his head stuck up RR's ass, and that my friend is what Ernie say's is a whole new kind a twist.

    Carolina,

  • This is my favorite part talking about the negotiations with WVU!!   :o I love it!!!

“The governor was very clear in his message,” Farrell said. “He said, ‘Fine, gentlemen. Every other year we’ll paint Mountaineer Field green [and] it will be a Marshall home game.’’’
Yoda says:    Blow the Mountaineers do!!
