    Two of Marshall football’s most recent verbal commitments hope to earn playing time right away.

    Neither Jerrell Edelen nor Timmy Jones will join the Thundering Herd until August, but both could impact the 2005 season. Edelen lines up at a position of need, and Jones is a versatile junior college transfer.
