  • Incase you missed it....Cam Henderson: A Coach's Story will re-air on WV Public TV Tuesday, June 19th from 9-10:30 p.m.  Producers John Witek and Deborah Novak won a first-place Platinum Award at the 40th Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival for their feature-length video "Cam Henderson: A Coach's Story" about West Virginia's legendary coach who spent many years coaching football and basketball at Marshall University.  Worldfest reported that only 10 to 15 percent of more than 4,500 entries won awards.

The Marshall University QB Club of Charleston has once again been asked to volunteer their services to answer the phones during the pledge drive segment.  Each time the Marshall University QB Club of Charleston has been called to assist, record pledges have been the result.  During the hour and a half segment of the Cam Henderson premiere last March, the QB Club helped to raise over $7,000.00.  Along with Deb and John for Tuesday night's re-airing will be featured studio guests Dr. Sam Clagg and Craig Lanham.

You can show your suppost and appreciation for Deb and John's latest award-winning film by tuning in Tuesday night, June 19th between 9 and 10:30 to WPBY (PBS) - channel 10 and WVPT - channel 5 in the Charleston area and making a pledge to Public TV.  For you're area, please check with your local cable operators.  If it's not shown in your area, call or write to your local PBS affiliate and request that they air Cam Henderson: A Coach's Story.

  • My girl bought me an autographed copy at Border's a month or so ago.
It's a very good documentary and has some great bonus footage of Huntington in the 50s as well as other great bonus features.
I recommend picking up a copy and supporting Deborah and John as well!
"It's tough for people to understand...but we play with twelve men."
"And our twelfth man is those 75 people....something has given us the edge.
You can't buy it or create it any other way."
