Topic: WVU Board question

I never go over there...they're just another team we don't play.

But do our guys go over there and smack talk to the same extent their guys come over here?  Seems kind of pointless to me, but I know back when we were in the MAC (it's nice to say that) a couple of bad actors seemed to do a lot to tarnish our rep among internet posters.

I agree with you on this one.  I don't go over there to start trouble but I'm sure a few of our posters over here go there to start trouble.  All it does is bring over those loud mouths over here.

I feel like this message board is our Herd Home.  And if I was going to someone elses home, I would be on my best behavior and put forth good manners.  However, some aren't as big on being polite and go over there strictly to start crap; just like some of the WVU trash we've seen over here lately.  There is a poster over on the Herdnation that I enjoyed talking with and that is 30CAT.  He's definately a WVU fan and never backs down from a debate.  Yet he does it in an intelligent manner and is always respectful of the Herd (to a degree) on our board.  I have no idea what he says on WVU boards and I don't care.  He's among other WVU fans there and can run us down all he wants.  That's his home.  Yet when he's on a Herd board, he's always shown proper etiquette.  That's how I'd behave if I was on another team or conferences board.  I'd hope our fans would as well.

I am on there a lot ( over 4,000 post). There is a smack board ( I don't post there). I have a premium account to get legitimate info and avoid too much smack. There are some MU posters who talk smack but not many. Besides, the guys on the WVU board are experts at it. So, if you can't hang with the Big Dogs stay on the porch if you are thinking about going over there to talk smack. here is the bottom line,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
1. They see MU as Mid-Major- no amount of posting will change that.
2. They will never accept anything but a 3 for 1 to make up for the broken series before.
3. They prefer a Penn ST, Ohio St or someone else for the 12th game.
4. Billboards, Capital Steps marches, Coach Pruetts Jokes/Comments,and other things are brought up all the time. I support both schools so I try to avoid the controversey myself.

No smak marcbuff but Penn State or Ohio State will accept no less then a 2-1 with WVU. Those are just facts, WVU talks about stadium size on this 1 as a 1-1, so would OSU and PSU and the fact is they are almost double the size of Mountaineer field.

I go over from time to time. I do not post, and I really have never seen many of our poster's there, unless they have me fooled. I would much rather hang around the people I care about.

I got banned from that board long, long ago.

Vermin Bailey has a very itchy trigger finger and will ban you for even hinting at smack on the main board.

On the smack board, if you find yourself clearly winning in a smack thread he will ban you there as well.

I hate Vermin Bailey, The Eers, their a$shole fans, and their yankee school.

As for Varmin Baliey don't sweat that FAT cat. I know a couple of guys who went to High School with him & say he has been a joke for years. His entire life revolves around message boards.

Yea, only problem is those schools don't want them.  If they did, they wouldn't have filled out the three games we left them with Idaho, Miami and James Madison.  The big boys look at that school as a joke.  They won't get a 2 for 1 with anyone respectable.  The only way they get it is if they are the ones hosting one game.
