    I suspect that technically speaking...any of the can be a captain and not play....but only by injury.....

    • The D badly needs a captain.  Albert is by far the best choice, playing or not.

    • I wonder why the players voted Bernard team captain. Could it be that he is the best QB on the team ? Or could it be that Snyder forced them to vote that way ? I dont think members of this board would have voted for him. Could it be that he has gained the trust of his teammates. Could it be that the players know more than the fans.

    HELL NO, THAT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE. EVERYBODY KNOWS THE FANS KNOW MORE THAN THE TEAM ITSELF.

    • They voted him team captain last year too.  Then proceeded to throw 8 tds all year.  It's going to be odd when 2 or 3 games into the season we don't have the offensive or defensive captain on the field.  Another Marshall stat that defies all logic.
