If the Big 10 or Big 12 take the Gator there will be another New Years Day bowl that has a spot to fill.  Wanna bet it gets filled by the Big East?

Or they could drop one of there lower bowls and move every other team up the food chain.  Maybe the Big East number two can take the Motor City Bowl then.

The number three Big 10 or 12 team may travel better than the Big East number 2 if it isn't UL or WVU.  Not saying that is the case.  Only saying that some of the teams in the Big East of having a reputation of not travelling well to bowl games.  

The game that get's left open by the Big 12 or Big 10 picking up the Gator may not be a New years day bowl.  However a new years eve bowl in Memphis with an increased (over it's current offering) may be as good a deal as any other.  Personally, I'd rather see an ACC team than the Big East number 2 but it would still be a very good match up.
