  • 1.  What in the heck is our coaches/team doing before games?  And has it been changed lately?  One thing consistent since Snyder got here is that we get killed in the 1st qtr.  It is like we come out sleep walking every game, then have to play from behind.  Memphis should have been up 21-0, had they not stopped themselves.

    2.  Many players had terrible games tonight...keep in mind I am not questioning their heart or love for MU football, but simply their performance.  It is not a personal attack...
#48 - is he really the best back-up MLB?  He just looked slow tonight and very poor tackling.  What happened to our depth at LB?
#40 - Wow, the last UM scoring drive, blown coverage, poor tackling, etc..
#80 - First of all, why was he in the game late?  He looked lost.  Where is Tavaris Thompson???
#24 - Man, we have to get the holds down, you are a veteran...solely responsible for 3 pts off the board.

    3.  Snaps...overall, they were better, but what a time for a bad one.  Again, that shouldn't happen in those situations.

    4. Fumbles...again, bad time for a fumble.  It looked like he ran into his own blocker.  Hold on to the ball in the red zone...responsible for 3 - 7 pts off the board.  Overall, I thought the RB's had a good game (Marshall and Small) and the OL opened up some big holes.

    5.  I thought the coaching staff, including Kueck put the players in position to win the game in the 2ND HALF (not 1st half).  The gameplan was sound and we moved the ball, but the players didn't execute when it counted.   Hats off for some good adjustments at halftime.  There were also not obvious bonehead calls that I saw.

    6.  I have never seen a team find so many ways to lose.  Bad snap, fumble, and bad hold cost us between 9 and 17 pts in the 2nd half.  Unbelievable.

    7.  Hats off to BM.  He looked great tonight and played with guts.  I thought he made good decisions and the 20 yard run on at gimpy foot at the end of the game COULD have won it for us.

    8.  Janac and Matthews played well tonight IMO, but we have to get some pressure on the QB.

    9.  I am not much on conspiracy theories...but every team we play seems to just cover the spread.  Wasn't it Toledo that go caught up in that scandal?  Nothing makes sense, so I am grasping at straws...lol, sorry...
