I've been watching Marshall football since 1964. The Memphis game was, in my estimation, the worst example of inept coaching I have ever seen.
There was no fire in the team, poor game preparation, poor adjustments made, poor communication between coaches and coaches and players during the game, fundamentals (tackleing, pass catching, etc.)were lacking, seemingly little or no leadershiip from the head coach, and a look of no confidence and bewilderment on Coach Snyder's face for most of the game......and I'm sure his players are able to see and sense these things too. Either Coach Snyder is in over his head, is inept in his coaching abilities, or has put his faith in assistant coaches who are not doing their jobs...but, he's the boss, and he has to either straighten this thing out, or resign. There is nothing wrong with losing football games, but, not the way the Memphis game was lost.
