HUNTINGTON -- On the sidelines, Marshall women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick might wear a three-piece suit for game-day, but his attire totally changes during the week as he prepares for opponents.

With several newcomers, a new offensive strategy and one of the most difficult schedules in recent history, Chadwick could just as easily be seen with a hard hat and safety goggles as opposed to the normal jacket and tie.

That's because the seventh-year coach is busy constructing the perfect foundation for Marshall women's basketball as they look to embark on a Conference USA title this season.

"We have four or five people that will be rotating in on the perimeter and three or four people that will rotate in on the post," Chadwick said. "We have some really good defenders, we have some really good offensive people. (The lineup) will just be dictated by the situation.

After enduring an opening exhibition against Kentucky State where Chadwick said that just as many players were out of position as in position, the team saw much more success from the team aspect in its second exhibition, an 82-35 win over West Virginia Wesleyan.
