    Fans are turning out for Marshall University home games despite the Thundering Herd's 1-8 record. Average attendance for four home games was 31,660.

    Crowd support is a factor in Marshall having a 110-14 in games played at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

    Today's kickoff is 4:30 p.m.

    ON THE AIR

    No local TV, but the game is being shown on WITN in Greenville, N.C. Delayed telecast at 11 p.m. on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network.
