  • 1.  Special Thanks to the Seniors.    Morris and Binswanger obviously had much improved, and very sound Senior Years.   Lauzon made some good plays this year, and may have been under utilized.   Fitz didn't have a great year, but he provided some memories earlier in his career.

    2.  Cody is Back.    After a couple shaky weeks, it was good to see the cobwebs were shaken loose.

    3.  Darius Marshall is a savior (not the Savior).
I think he had a great freshman year, and weathered some undue criticism like someone much older.  On Saturday, if we didn't have him, we would have lost.  Looking forward to seeing him next year.

    4.  Kueck.   I agree that it was time for him to go, but he didn't stink this game (he sure did last week).  Just like with Fitz, while I don't think he was a good fit as OC, his work with the QBs in past years was and continues to be appreciated.  Thanks coach.

    5.  Attendance.  You would have to be blind not to notice, and I don't think it was just because of Thanksgiving Break.

    6.  Call Me Bill Clinton.  I keep flip-flopping on my support/lack thereof of Snyder on a weekly basis.  The previous two weeks, I thought he looked like he was in control.  This week it looked like a disorganized mess out there.  Anyway, much like Snyder himself, I'm welcoming the offseason.  Much like everyone else, I don't know if Snyder is the answer, but if he's not, we may find ourselves in a death spiral that will take years to climb out of.

    7.  Edwards is going to have to be really really good next year, to take the short yardage carries away from Turner.  With Marshall, JoJo, and Edwards taking snaps next year, Turner may not get as many touches as he did towards the end of this year.   But still, he was an impressive short yardage rusher when he held onto the ball.

    8.  It was great meeting Herdmeister and Connie on Saturday.  Wish I would have known it was Herdmeister's birthday before Saturday.  I could have made a toast with those deadly jello shots.

    9.  We all missed Debbie at our tailgate sight.  Looking forward to seeing Nick, Lenny, Scott and Debbie next year.

    10.  I hope things improve next year, the UAB game was not that entertaining.  I ended up spending half of the fourth quarter talking to the two gentlemen that sit in front of me about WV high school basketball.
