  • Let's just say for argument that the WVU series begins in 2006.  Let's also assume that the first game will be in Morgantown and rotated each year.  Which would assume that WVU hosts the games in even years while Marshall hosts it in odd numbered years.  If you play that out through the years (and assume that all other contracts are honored), Marshall is going to have a kick-@$$ schedule in 2011.  Miami FL, Va Tech, and WVU will ALL BE PLAYING IN HUNTINGTON!  Pretty freaking amazing thought.  Don't know if it will pan out that way but it's sure one heck of a pipe dream to look forward to.

  • Do you think a 50,000 seater would be enough for a schedule like that?

    WVU
    Southern Miss
    East Carolina
    UAB
    Rice/Houston/Tulsa

  • And if you want your QB to be experienced for that kind of season (i.e. a senior) that means our next Bryon or Chad is a sophomore in High School right now and would come to Marshall and redshirt in 2007.
