OK, enough is enough. The ridiculous hey-look-at-me posing after every single NFL play has officially filtered down to the college level, and it's beginning to make college games unwatchable.
It has come to the point at both levels where a defensive player makes a routine tackle at the line of scrimmage, then races out 10 yards away from the action, folds his arms and nods self-approvingly.
For what? Doing what a defensive player is supposed to do?
What if the rest of society followed suit? Can you imagine your postal carrier stopping to do an end-zone dance after successfully delivering the mail at each house?
Or what if your dentist stopped after cleaning each individual tooth, folded his or her arms and sauntered around your chair?
Football is supposed to be the ultimate team game, which is why we love it so much in this country.
It's time coaches stepped in, put an end to the nonsense and preached the following: Yes, celebration is a great thing, but do it with your teammates, not individually.

A quick note for Missouri Tigers fans: The K.C. Tiger Club will hold a luncheon meeting at noon on Thursday at the Hereford House on 20th and Walnut.
Not sure about the connection here, but the guest speaker will be Royals general manager Allard Baird.
Perhaps Allard can fill Tigers fans in on the dangers of heightened expectations.
