Everyone keeps saying Cann is a RSF (and that is true). But the thing he is doing that is KILLING us is not RSF mistakes. Like misreading the defenses or acting lost. The biggest thing he is doing is throwing the football very erratic. He just doesn't have good accuracy. That is passing TALENT. If he was just trying to throw the ball into coverage or missing by a little that would be one thing. But he is throwing the ball at times 15 yards over the recievers head or at their feet on a screen pass. Yes he does throw a ball on the money occasionally. But if you throw the ball 30 times a game you will get it right a few times. I think the guy is just erratic and does not have accuracy. People comparing him to Pennington is a slap in Penningtons face. Penninington always had great accuracy. As his highest perctentage in the NFL (history) will attest. Yes he threw 5 interceptions in his very first game for Marshall. But they were forced passes and so forth. He didn't throw balls 15 and 20 yards over recievers heads. Cann better get with someone that can teach him accuracy or he will never come close to a Pennington.  And being accurate is something you can't always teach. A lot of that is you have it or you don't. And right now Cann is a erratic throwing the FTB as anyone i have ever seen. My GOSH C Slate was wide OPEN in the end zone (nobody withing 15 yards of him) and Cann over threw him by 15 yards(it wasn't even close).

uh chad pennington threw 6 interceptions his first start and it was against ut Chatt.

Hey Wolf, please explain to this guy how hard it is to make that throw with a defense baring down on you! The absolute worst thing we can do right now is start bashing Cann. If my memory serves me right WVU made a certain experienced Oklahoma qb look pretty bad last year in a Bowl game!

It's not that he just had incompletions. The guy doesn't throw it in the same time zone. Me and some people were talking after the Ill St game about some of his passes. He threw a few that were 15 yards over the recievers head and looked more like a punt than a pass. The wobbliest looking ugly duck i have ever seen. He throws some ugly balls (wobbly knuckle balls) That are not even close to the recievers. Being off a little is one thing, but GEEZE!!!! He threw a few against WV to the sideline that the was over the players head standing on the sideline, much less the reciever. Screen passes were behind the reciever at their feet. Passes over the middle were 10-15 yds over the recievers head. And not to mention Cody being WIDE OPEN in the end zone that was thrown about 10 yards past the end zone.....WOW!!! Incompletions are one thing. But GEEZE get it within 15-20 yards of the guy!!!!!
