Topic: Lets talk about Iphones!

My wife has one and I am thinking about getting one next week when the new 3Gs is released. Is there anyone on here that has one and has had any problems with them? Everything that I have hear has been positive.

And what are the best Apps that anyone has downloaded?

You can't put insurance on it and it is such an expensive phone. If something happens to it, the only way to replace it is pay the 500 retail value. They are great and have an endless amount of fun/efficient/helpful apps.  Don't use the gps, better off to buy a garmin.  It doesn't talk to you, so you have to watch it to see where to turn, and that can be tricky in a big city with lots of traffic, especially if you are alone.  I have now purchased an ipod touch.  I get all of the fun from the iphone with the apps and mp3 player, but stick with a blackberry for my pda/email/on the go internet usage.

My wife has one as well. My favorite app is ESPN's scorecenter. It has a crawl of scores just like on TV and you can set it to your favorite team(s).

One problem is you cannot send photos via text. Also, the camera on it is below average. There are supposed to be upgrades coming soon.

One piece of advice though, buy the padded cover for it. My wife has already dropped it three times but the cover has saved us.

They are soooo sweeeet. Especially the new S.
I already have a company paid blackberry curve, and use it for my company and private calls, email.
If we had an iPhone option, I would jump on it quicker than a butterfly in a peach tree.
