  • QUICK! Somebody get a dictionary! Sturt's using big words again! He used "miniscule". He's so smart. Write us another novel in a different thread and incorporate the phrase "faux pas". Please?

you forgot the best one:  "Vis-a-vis"

  • Just sent Hillbilly a PM... hopefully I've clarified something that was misunderstood. And btw, 7th grade reading level was not cited as-if that is his level... rather, when people write for a living, they're often encouraged to attempt to keep it at a 7th grade level... that's why, in case you hadn't noticed, your Microsoft Word will analyze your text according to a 7th grade reading scale to ensure readability.

Now about faux pas... vis-a-vis... and what was the other one?... oh yeah, miniscule... just because you don't use them in whatever line of work you do should not mean that those of us who do occasionally have reason to use them should feel embarrassed... it's not as-if you don't know what those things mean, and even if you don't/didn't, you really need to cut me some slack--it is not my intention to make you feel bad because you don't/didn't.

  • Sorry to change the subject back to us sucking, but I don't think Snyder is playing opossum. Our program really is lifeless at this point.

I feel the same way but I do believe Snyder is riding the excuse train as far as it will take him because it has giving him job security for the past 4 years. He will ride it as long as he can because it gives him a job. Either that or he really is cluless and thinks he is making progress. If that's the case then he needs to be on some type of psychotropic medication. Possibly something for the voices in his head that tell him he is doing things the right way? ???

I believe, more accurately, the subject is the content of what this Bleacher Report blogger had to say, and the validity of suggesting that Snyder has been cleverly holding back on everyone for some unexplained reason. Before the fall-on-the-floor hilarious remark that interrupted the thread... I suggested that the author's premise is an attempt at feigning ingenuity and optimism, but in reality, if he really believes this, his Snyder is someone who hasn't been affected by all of the losing and doesn't mind the onlookers telling him how to do his job... and that's just not believable.

  • I'm wrong? You or others believe Snyder doesn't actually want to win?

Of course we don't believe that. It's just sometimes we've noticed that it's a great Dayyy for an F-G-Ayyy !!!!!!

  • Snyde wants to win badly.

He has had 4 years of growing pains as a head coach and no the learning process enters year #5.

He seems to have learned alot from his past mistakes. And he seems to be really on top of things this season.
No stupid remarks. No silly comments. Nothing.
Just a get the job done mentality.

He knows what he has this year and what needs to happen.
    Win or lose.
The man is on the job.
And I respect the hell out of him for that.
    IT'S TAILGATING SEASON!
