  • Yes, Rod has ONLY won two shares of the BIG EAST Championship the past two years and finished 2nd in 2002. Plus he has lost 3 straight Bowls. He is paid to go 11-0 , win Bowls and National Championships!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought it odd that football scoops is questioning the coaching staff.  I know knowing about coaching changes, just asking where they got their information.

  • Now that us playing the "state school" is inevitable...I could see why the guy would want to leave.

I have posted it before, and i will try it again.......I think the cheerleader rumor is hogwash, but i do feel there are some things to backup the rumor that their might be changes in order.  I have discussed them elsewhere until i was blue in the face, but let's just say, the chemistry between the head coach, players, and coaching staff is not what they are paying for.

  • I personally do not like Rich.  I think that he is very cocky and this is probably the reason why there is trouble brewing in M'town.  I think that it is funny.  The more that they continue to have turmoil in their program, it more than solidifies our claim as the best university in the state.

  • Whatever comes to Rich Rod he deserves.  He is very arrogant and cocky and thinks his you know what doesnt stink (trying to be better with my language for all the people on here).  It is very funny that he cant win the Big Least.  It is a weak conference that Louisville will dominate for years to come!!

  • My question: Why is there a 2nd WVU Thread on a Marshall board, if I wanted to read about Rich RamRod Id go do it on the Blue Gold board. Thats the reason I never go over there, so I never have to read anything about them.

  • Methinks he doth protest too much.

  • RamRod's buddy Hickman gave him a front-page, top-of-the-fold article which takes up three pages on the internet.  Does RamRod ever once deny the rumors??  Re-read it for yourself..... I found it very interesting.

Also, he says the rumor has effected recruiting.  How?  Haven't we already been subjected to two weeks worth of articles describing wvu's recruiting class as one of the best in wvu history?  And weren't we supplied with a list of potential signees about three weeks ago... and ALL of them ended up signing?  So how exactly has this negatively effected recruiting?????

  • A smart guy would not have acknowledged the rumor at all. Or taken a cheap shot at a former assistant coach, negative recruiting or not.

  • I lost it on RamRod - referring to Super Troopers....

    TEAM RAM ROD!!
In the middle of Huntington, West Virginia, there is a river. Next to this river, there is a steel mill. And next to the steel mill, there's a school. In the middle of this school, there's a fountain. Each year, on the exact same day, the exact same hour, the water to this fountain is turned off. And in this moment, once every year, throughout the town, throughout the school, time stands still.
