  • Looks good but I think Thornton and Noel will get good looks because of their time in the program. Ditto Inman.  Rodamer could get some PT also. Come on spring practice..........

  • At DT I'm curious about incoming JUCO Juan Underwood.  He's 295 and runs a 4.8 40.

  • Not much argument from me except I think Ian Hoskins will be one of the LBs and TB will be back at guard. Also, I believe we'll have the equivalent of four starters at DT, rotating, of course - Garrett, Wright, Underwood, and one other one from about four players.

I hope one of the FR QBs takes over by the fourth or fifth game.

  • How is El Amin coming along, and where will he end up in the rotation?

  • Your guesses are my guesses.  Hopefully, some of the new recruits will be able to play right away.

The incoming CB should play in the nickle.  I wonder what our D-line rotation will be and I'm looking forward to seeing Filer, Lauzon and others.

O'Hara will play nowhere next season, he will be a NQ and have to set out next year.

  • The good thing is that we've got some depth this season so you're likely to see more situational rotation.  That should give us fresher legs late in the game.

If that happens.......we've gotten off to a BAD start.

  • Sounds good.   Just a thought and I could be wrong, but isn't there a transfer CB from North Carolina that could make an instant impact.  And that Underwoord recruit on paper seems like a stud.

  • I think Kitchens takes on of the LB spots and DO NOT BE SHOCKED if Wilbur Hargrove becomes a sensation this year...essentially James Williams reincarnated and forces one of the young bucks into the role of the 4th receiver.

  • I love these kind of threads. .......So if Dre Ratliff takes after his brother, could he push Willie or Hawkins? Wesley Jones at 6'5 338 is another player who might suprise.

  • MLB:  Kitchens
    WLB: Couch
    SLB:  Souder

That's my best guess on the linebackers. :P

  • However, I expect Newsome, Thornton and Hoskins somewhere in the 2-deep rotation at linebacker.

  • I am curious to see what happens to Tank and Hoskins year.  Last year at this time, I picked Hoskins as the sleeper of the 2004 recruits.  However, I didn't know he was going to put on those exra pounds and move to linebacker.  I think he'll be good player for the program.   He must have a great work ethic to add those pounds!:D
