Ravens waive five young playersThe Ravens waived five young players on Thursday, which included four undrafted rookies (defensive lineman John Fletcher, cornerback Courtney Smith, safety Brad Jones and safety Ashton Hall) and center Daniel Sanders (who was an undrafted rookie a year ago).The Ravens' cuts come one week after their final offseason camp.Fletcher had seven sacks last season for Wyoming. Smith was a Division II standout from Central Washington. Hall was known his 44-inch vertical leap, which broke Randy Moss' record at Marshall. And Jones, who was signed only a month ago after a tryout, was a one-year starter at the University of Cincinnati.Sanders signed with the Ravens in January after joining the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted rookie in 2009.
