Big changes are afoot at USC. The college athletics powerhouse announced the replacement of athletic director Mike Garrett, and newcomer Pat Haden has already announced one big shift.

The incoming AD said he would return the Heisman Trophy that standout running back Reggie Bush won in 2005. Bush was a major part of the harsh NCAA sanctions imposed on USC for alleged misconduct.

Taking a shot at the school's former prized running back, who helped lead the team to a national championship, incoming school president Max Nikias said that "the Trojan Family honors and respects the USC sporting careers of those persons whose actions did not compromise their athletic program or the opportunities of future USC student-athletes."

Truly a move worthy of a BCS school...making a big deal out of a symbolic gesture that means nothing.

I want the 1999 Heisman Trophy removed from Ron Dayne and sent to the man who deserved it- Chad Pennington.
