Otherwise, we wouldn't have had the distinct pleasure of watching those bracket-busting darlings Butler and Virginia Commonwealth play in the Final Four Saturday night at Houston.

Otherwise, we wouldn't be looking forward to the David vs. Goliath concept that captures every sports fan's imagination when the NCAA Tournament championship is decided Monday night.

Otherwise, we would have been robbed of March Madness, which is easily the most entertaining event in collegiate sports.

That's what not having the equivalent of a BCS in college basketball has done for the game.

Dead on. That is why this time of year is so exciting. Bowl games are horrible and like chuck said...all those lower tier Bowl's nobody even cares except the 2 schools fans. Bowl games mean NOTHING except the NC game, and even that is hand picked. College Basketball is much more excitng when it comes to post season.
