Jason Corriher, Ass't AD for Media Relations (read:  SID) for Ohio University is now the news SID at Marshall.

The guy likes Cheerwine, according to McGill.   ;D

Its a step up athletically in football and b'ball, but in almost every other way - facilities (other than Peden), pay, size of school, etc. - OU is a bigger school.

Ohio's HC football coach made 458k last year.  I found thread that said OU's basketball coach makes 250k.

Jason Corriher is a solid hire.  Good guy and good at what he does.  Trades bus rides around the directional Michigan schools for flying into the likes of New Orleans, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, etc.  No brainer.  Welcome aboard.

Johnny you're right; coaching salaries are on the low end of the pay scale in the MAC. Kent State's successful coach Geno Ford, who left Kent for Bradley, was making only $300 thousand.
