 So, let me get this straight.  I am a season ticket holder in football and basketball.  I am also a Big Green donor.  I get upper level seats at the CCC for the Cincy game included in my season ticket package and 4 days before the game they decide to open up the lower level  seats to Big Green members?   A lot of season ticket holders are already BG members with crappy seats for this game.  Now they think folks are gonna shell out another $25 after already having a ticket and they will be able to sit where they want anyway. I have seen it all now.  WOW!  Here is the email:

This Saturday the Herd will host the undefeated Cincinnati Bearcats in the Charleston Civic Center at 2:00 pm.  Lower level seats in sections 140 and 141 at the Charleston Civic Center have become available for sale to Big Green members at this time.  There are a limited amount of seats so they will go fast.  Tickets are $25 and you must call the ticket office at 800-THE-HERD to order.

Prior to the game the Tip Off Club will host a tailgate party in the WV Room 105, tickets are $10 and you need to RSVP by calling 1-304-696-3401.

Heck I haven't even got my tickets.  I called yesterday and apparently something happened with the printing of them and they had to be reprinted.  What a bush league operation. >:(

It has always been an pot luck with the strategies behind basketball seating....  HERDTHATONE I agree, I have mid court seats 8 rows up from the floor at the Cam and my Cinn tickets are on the last section facing the basket top row.. ?????????????????????

Now under the new Points system, if you are willing to pay $5k, you can keep your crappy CCC seats next year (ducking... ;))

My tickets never came either. He said he'd reprint them and I could get them at will call or stop by this week to pick them up.

I'm assuming I'm lower level but not sure.

I think if you have lower bowl season tix (and are at that point an obvious BG member), that you get lower bowl CCC seats.

At least I hope.

There are often seats kept for various reasons (team families, opposing team, dignitaries, set aside just in case, that are released late.  When I go to a show, I always wait until the day of and in most cases (not that I go to shows often) there are front row seats available that were not claimed by family and friends.

With the Vision Campaign, I'd imagine that they held back a number of tickets for big donors or people they are/were wooing...That is how any business works.

we can't even get 5k of our own people to show up for the wvu game, nonetheless UC.
