Topic: Attention Thunder Club

Coaches that deserve that "That Thunder Club Bonus":

1.  Shonda Stanton - Softball.....C-USA Championship, NCAA Tournament

2.  Jeff Small and his Assistant Coach:  Two All-Americans and a trip to the
                                                           NCAA Nationals.


These two programs along with baseball (two players drafted by MLB),
and men's golf with the golfer playing in the NCAA's should also get some
coaching recognition ($$).

These coaches are PAID to do a job.....Just because the team does well or a few players stand out that they coached...THAT'S THEIR JOB  If your wanting to throw $$ at them for when they do well.....Then we should expect $$ back from thm when they don't.....

They likely have bonuses in their contract, but I believe the Thunder Club did/does their own thing, right?

I wouldn't give Waggs a bonus, love the guy, but we finished 9th out of 9 teams in the conference, third year in a row we've finished dead last in the conference.

Yeah, because performance bonuses don't exist in any other job besides coaching.  ::)

Thunder Club allows us to retain good coaches especially in non revenue sports.  You would be shocked at how little some of our coaches are paid...

I bet this list of coaches are all under consideration. I am not sure how the program works; think the Thunder Club comes up with all the donations they can and the Athletic Admin makes the decisions on who / how / why / where the extra bonus money gets distributed.
