    • Had a pretty sever tear to my inside medial gastroc. So much so that the outer head has disappeared. Those deep tissue tools are evil but they seem to be working. ;D Based on some of your posts I thought you might have been in PT. Do you have experience with those? I was amazed at how aggressive they use them. Not for anyone that has a low tolerance for pain.

    • No not in pt but I do plenty of rehabbing sports injuries. Those deep tissue tools are legit and hurt like hell. I love using them. Haha hope you heal up soon.

    Total hips and knees are made to walk 2-3 hours after awaking from surgery....

    Pain isn't much of a consideration with regard to treatment anymore, it seems....

    Yep. I have a 2 year old injury. They use those tools on my scar tissue like they are digging for gold. Very precise, deep and intense. Imagine taking something that looks like a plastic chisel and digging it down into your muscle to the point where it bruises and releases blood. Shiit works though. I went from looking like I did not have the inside of my calf to now almost what it was before after 3 treatments.

    It's called Graston technique. Not sure what the tools are classified as or what they are called. Maybe herdfan429 can answer that. What's used by my PT are the ones in the picture I posted and the ones in the link below. I have a chronic issue that I let go for too long so I'm looking at several months of this. There is also a strength, balance and stretching routine involved. I have to say though, my favorite part so far is the ice pack at the end of the session  ;D
