This whole conference championship and who will be hosting thing? I know the teams that we need to look out for but how will things go down in the different scenario's. Also if any of those games will be televised could you tell me the channel? Thanks in advance and Go Herd!

If rice wins tomorrow they host. If they lose we host. If they but we are higher in bcs ranking we host. Cusa game will be either espn or espn2 i believe.

West:
Rice 6-1
Tulane, UTSA, North Texas are 5-2.

If Tulane beats Rice, we host no matter who wins the West, because the West winner would have two conference losses to our one. My understanding is the team visiting Herd Avenue could be Rice, Tulane, or UTSA, but not North Texas.

If Rice beats Tulane, they win the West. Since we would have the same conference record and we didn't play head to head, the tiebreaker is BCS ranking; better BCS ranking hosts. Word is Rice was #55 and we were #65 going into this week's games. Since we beat ECU handily, we stand to gain spots, but it is unclear whether we could/would overtake Rice. It would be tight.

If Rice loses we host, if they win horse race with the  computers. I like our chances. I will attend regardless.
