I get that he is shorter, but he is great. He makes plays, big catches, and scores touchdowns. I'm afraid he is going to be Cody Slate'd. Of course Slate was injured in his senior year. But you get what I'm saying.

At this point in the draft, I think I've heard a lot of prognosticators talk about how being an UDFA is preferable to being drafted this late? I don't remember the whole story or the reasoning though.

If you are drafted into a bad situation or a team that doesn't fit you are for the most part SOL, but if you are an undrafted FA, you can end up with multiple opportunities and select the team and situation where you and your agent feel give you the most chance to succeed.

You also can choose to play for the team which offers the higher/highest bonus...

You pick the offense you want, the qb you want, the higher paying club and you can decide which team you think has the most need for your skills..
