In his scenario it wouldn't be just a MAC team.  It would likely be 2 beatable top 40 teams that could help us get voters on our side for consideration.  The conference isn't relevant.  The SoS weight is.  We would not have to schedule a single MAC team OOC as we would be guaranteed to play their top 2 if we were CUSA'a #1.
