Pruett’s success a blueprint for others

HUNTINGTON -- The Troy Trojan football team in Alabama continues to adjust to life in NCAA Division 1-A and use Bobby Pruett’s example at Marshall as a guiding light, the Trojans’ head coach said Wednesday.

Head Coach Larry Blakeney said he wants to steer the Trojans to prominence after they moved to NCAA Division I-A football in 2001 just as Pruett commanded the Thundering Herd after Marshall’s move to Division I-A in 1997.
