By Dave Wilson in Marshall SportsBOCA RATON, FL. – Rakeem Cato accounted for five touchdowns and connected with Tommy Shuler 18 times, as the Florida duo led Marshall to a 52-23 win over Northern Illinois in the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl.Marshall finished the year 13-1, just the third time in the school history Marshall has had a 13-win season.Cato was 25-of-37 passing for 281 yards and three touchdowns through the air plus he rushed for two more scores. Devon Johnson, who admitted after the game he was not 100 percent healthy after a shoulder injury in the Western Kentucky game, provided the power on the ground. Johnson rushed for 131 yards on 15 carries, including a 2-yard touchdown run.Johnson recorded his 10th 100-yard rushing game of the season, matching the mark Chris Parker set in the ’93, ’94, and ’95 seasons.
